Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek, California. Her career began in television and film productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she was the producer of projects like Double Dare (1976). She also has appeared in TV shows such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996), Electra Woman (2001) and Dyna Girl (2001). Her most famous TV part was "Christine Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she was in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet as well as a noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 until April 7 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26 1987), and Daisy Ross (born on March 30 in 1990) were born in her second wedding to Michael A. Ross. She was born in Palo Alto, California and was raised in Walnut Creek. She was an athlete at Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was a trickroper in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her ashes were given to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post died three months after her 71st birthday on August 7, 2021. She passed away 27 days following Charles Robinson, her Night Court (1984), co-star, died on the 11th of July, 2021. Although the two shows were not connected, Night Court (1984) was a finale that saw Christine Sullivan's character moving to Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) was the first show to introduce Post as Georgie Lahti. Post was a new character in Hearts Afire (1992), and later she moved to a small community after her time in Washington DC.
