Sofia Margarita Vergara

 Sofia Margarita Vergara is a Colombian-American actress and presenter. Vergara was the highest paid actress in American television between 2013 until 2020.Vergara was a star when she began hosting two shows on the Spanish-language TV network Univision in the late 1990s. Her first significant acting gig in English was in the movie Chasing Papi (2003). After that, she was featured in Four Brothers (2005), Tyler Perry's Comedies Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009, which received an ALMA Award nomination). She first played Gloria Delgado–Pritchett in ABC's comedy series Modern Family, for which she was nominated four Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards and eleven Screen Actor Guild Awards. Vergara has also voiced roles in animated movies Happy Feet Two (2011). Escape from Planet Earth (2013). and The Emoji Movie (2018). Vergara was also the most-paid Hollywood actress in 2020[citation requiredThe actress also appeared in the films Escape from Planet Earth (2013) and Happy Feet Two (2011). Since the year 2020, Vergara has been a judge on America's Got Talent. Vergara was raised in Barranquilla by a Roman Catholic couple.  Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara, was a homemaker, as was her father. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, was a cattle rancher in the meat industry. The nickname she received was "Toti" by her five siblings and numerous cousins. Vergara began her dental studies for three years at National University of Colombia, but she left two semesters short of completing her education to pursue modeling opportunities and show business.
