Noureen DeWulf

American actress Noureen deWulf (nee Ahmed), is She is best known for her roles in films such as West Bank Story (2005), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and The Back-up Plan (2010). She also played Lacey on the sitcom Anger Management (2012 from 2012 to 2014). DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed. She was a New York City native, to Gujarati Indian parents, from Pune, Maharashtra. She was born in Stone Mountain in Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She is the younger sister of two. Aziza is Aziza's older sister, teaches law at Northeastern University, Boston. Her younger sister, Sara, practices law in San Francisco. DeWulf was a student at Boston University's School for the Arts and did studies in theatre and international relations. After graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue an acting career. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati well. DeWulf's acting career began in the Oscar Award-winning film West Bank Story. There she played Fatima (a Palestinian cashier who sings and dances) and fell in love with an Israeli soldier. She has been appearing in comedic films and television shows since. She was featured on The Outsourced series on NBC, Outsourced as well as TNT's Hawthorne, and MTV's Hard Times of RJ Berber. DeWulf was also a frequent guest on Lifetime's miniseries Maneater. She co-starred with Matthew McConaughey as the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009). She also starred with Jeremy Piven on The Goods: Sell Hard and Live Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2010 and was her primary role.
